The internal works: Renovate Part V

Well this post isn't gonna have much of a "wow" factor, but I must say, it sure is alot of detail that will make our home more comfortable! Plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, etc...It's all the important stuff that, once covered up, no one thinks of again! And speaking of being covered up, this is a good start! We celebrated by finally unplugging, and removing our "space" heaters that we used to keep the chill off during the night! I won't go into detail of the amount of noise that one of the heaters created! I'll just say it this way, we didn't need to use the "white" noise machine in the boys room, for it pretty much took care of the need for "background" noise!
Yes, that's sheet rock on the floor! Didn't think I'd ever be this excited over a few stacks of boards!
This shot is looking down the hall between the new bedrooms & ending at the new bathroom!

Our favorite "inspector" with his trusty side kick, "papa turtle", who continues to make his rounds through the house daily...just looking for whatever excitement he can be a part of!

  1. Looking good! I'm sure you can't wait to be able to use all of that space. I can't wait to see the finished product.

  2. It's so fun to see it all take shape. And I totally understand about getting excited about dry-wall! :)

  3. Looks great! I love the archway (from the entry into the living room?) and the shape and height of that ceiling! Can't wait to see it with the drywall finished!
